How To Play Central Midfield

This is my first post and I want to write about "How To Play Central Midfield" because I think its the most important and difficult position in football. It is the brain of the game as it controls the rhythm of the game.

1. Good First Touch

2. Long Passing and Shooting Range

3. High Work Rate And Stamina

4. Composure and Creativity

5. Great Vision

6. Simplicity

How should a Central Midfielder play?

The attributes required to become a Pro Central Midfielder are given above. A Central Midfielder should always be a good commander of the ball. They should be versatile as they have to do both attacking and defensive work.

- Look for the empty space to open the wingers

- Don't loose the possession as it will open your defense

- Move around the whole pitch and play 1-2 touch pass

- Make the best decision ( Pass/Shoot)

- Play long balls if the possible which can open opponents defense easily

- Play as a Unit

- Help your defenders and attackers
